What is 'Orange Health Insurance' for Foreigners?
Have a peace of mind about your health with the special health insurance which is required for foreign people to have residence permit in Türkiye.
With this "Orange Health Insurance" to be used to get short term residence permit for foreigners (non Turkish ), in addition to the General Conditions of the Health Insurance, in the event that the insured has an accident or illness, healthcare costs of the insured, which are necessary for inpatient and/or outpatient treatment of the insured at all kinds of private or public healthcare institutions licensed by the Ministry of Health according to the coverage, limits and co-payment percentages given in the policy and in accordance with the special and general conditions.
This policy includes minimum coverage set forth in the circular letter no 16 dated 10/05/2016 on health insurances for visa and residence permit applications.

Inpatient Treatment; refers to the situation where the insured has to be hospitalized and kept under observation for diagnosis and treatment.
Outpatient Treatment; refers to services and procedures such as examination, medications, laboratory and imaging services etc which do not require hospitalization for the diagnosis and treatment of patient.
Orange Policy is for B type institutions.
For a non-contracted ambulance service, the coverage limit is the same as the contracted land ambulance fee.
Non-contracted physician’s wage at contracted/non-contracted health institution shall be confined to 1 TTB.
